Kids Job chart

I wanted to create a fun job chart for my 2 1\2 year old. I started to think of different ways to get him excited to look at and want to do what is on his chart. I also wanted to be able to change things up every so often.  Here's what I came up with.
I used a magnetic white board and got the thin pattern duck tape to layout a few different boxes. I got the flat sticker magnetic sheets and found wood cutouts of barn animals at Hobby Lobby. My plan is to change them out to different themes. This way it will be different but still the same concept. Plus they have cute holiday ones I want to use.  :)
I keep all the animals on one side and as he does the job he gets to move the animal to the barn. The six boxes in the middle are currently

for potty training. He gets a Batman magnetic each time he goes. The dog in the corner is something fun he can do with our dog. Like take her for a walk, feed her a treat, bathe her, etc. He moves the dog magnetic down to the bottom square.
As for the job he needs to do each day I created different paper with a mix of chores (not all work chores, I have fun stuff on them also) Each day I take a page and stick it on the board. I like doing it this way because it mixes things up and also he loves erasing the writing so I can't write the chores on the board now!
So far it been a success. He loves the animals and moving them to the barn. I also let him play with the animals that are on the barn side...he loves that.

Two other things...
You can also write right on the wood cutouts what the job is and they move that specific animal.
I hung the white board with command strips (picture hanging strips) I put one on each corner and hung it, that way I didn't need to make any holes in the wall and they are Velcro so I can take the board off the wall if I need to.

I hope you can create something similar for you and your kids to enjoy and have fun with together!
